My Journey as a Translator

Hi! I’m Kauana — an English–Portuguese translator who’s always been passionate about languages and curious about the world. Studying English only made me even more curious. When I discovered the translation field, I just knew that was what I wanted to do.

I chose to study Literature, but ended up disappointed because the main focus was on teaching. So, I looked for a specialization in Translation to improve my writing and apply what I had learned to a second language.

After a lot of theory, I finally started working as a freelance translator for a few agencies — and that’s how I landed my first job in the field. Since then, I’ve kept learning and discovering the world through translation. Language is constantly changing, and there are always new experiences to absorb and share.

I also love traveling and meeting new people and places — I believe those are the moments that truly stay with us.

“Translations Dreams” was born from this passion. The name reflects both my dream and my dedication. We specialize in English–Portuguese translation and are committed to delivering work with quality, care, and on-time delivery — always honoring the trust our clients place in us.
